Pando makes electric vehicle charging outlets specifically designed for multifamily facilities like apartments and condos. We specialize in high-power Level 2 EV charging with built in load management features.

What makes Pando different?
Our chargers are built for multifamily from the ground up. They are simple, reliable, cost-effective, and require no ongoing maintenance. We manufacture and install the ONLY high-power Level 2 charging outlet on the market. Capable of charging up to 9.6kW, which is 50% faster than common Level 2 stations.

Does Pando offer both hardware and software?

Yes. Our Smart Outlet Gen2 and Pando+ modular charger are supported by Pando Canopy (connectivity), Pando Pulse (energy management), and our online dashboard and mobile app. Together, they create a complete EV charging ecosystem for multifamily properties.

How do I start charging my car/How do I use your device?
Just tap your phone, watch, resident fob, or ID card at the charger to begin. If its your first log-in you may be asked to provide payment information in the app. After you have done so no extra steps are required.

What if WiFi or cellular service goes down?
Pando outlets still work without a network. You can always start a session with tap-to-charge.

Do I need to download an app?
Yes and No. Charging can be activated directly with NFC tap from your phone, watch, or existing access card. However, for your first log-in you must download the app and put in payment information, once complete, you can load your digital card to your phone's wallet or use other alternative methods like a company-issued NFC card. 

Is Pando reliable?
Yes. Our outlets are tested to last over 15,000 plug cycles, which equals 40 years of lifetime under day-to-day usage. We provide lifetime warranty for devices that are under subscription.

What’s the price per kWh?

Pando Electric doesn’t set any of the prices. It’s completely dependent on the property.

Who do I contact if my device isn’t working?

Pando will be automatically alerted if there’s a failure in any of the devices. Most problems require a simple reboot and can be solved remotely. 

I don’t see my device in my app.

Please contact your property manager to get access to the Pando Smart Outlets. Make sure you have your Account ID ready, which should be either your email address or phone number. Once your property manager completes the registration process, the device will be visible in your app after refreshing the screen.

What is daisy chaining?

Daisy chaining is connecting the outlets to each other instead of wiring each individual unit back to the circuit. This significantly reduces upfront costs by 50-70%. 

How does the full building management set up work?

There is a sensor installed to the top of the panel that triggers when usage turns on telling the EV outlets to lower their power.

How do I market Pando outlets?

Pando provides marketing collaboration such as flyers. We also provide training sessions on our key technology and functions. 

Why can’t I just install wall outlets?

Standard wall outlets lack necessary functions such as billing, safety shutoffs, and usage tracking. This is why it’s not recommended for multifamily properties to use wall outlets. 

My client are confused/skeptical about an outlet configuration.

It’s like charging a phone. At the end of the day, you go to your outlet, grab your cable, and plug in. There’s no difference with our smart outlets. If they would like a traditional look without the maintenance of one, we would recommend looking at our Pando+ option.
